Zara Blackmore – winner of the Clive Mahony Bursary, 2020

Meadow Quality are delighted to announce Zara Blackmore as this year’s winner of the Clive Mahony Bursary.

This year, Meadow Quality are pleased to announce Zara Blackmore as the successful applicant. Zara will receive £250.00 to help finance her studies, courtesy of the Clive Mahony Bursary.

“It was clear from Zara’s application that she is extremely passionate about the agriculture industry. We hope the bursary will help with Zara’s ongoing education and we look forward to working with her in the near future.”

The Clive Mahony Bursary Scheme was launched in 2018 following the unexpected and tragic passing of an industry-leading cattle specialist, Clive Mahony. The £250 bursary is awarded annually to an agricultural student, selected by the Mahony family from the pool of applicants, to support with travel, housing costs or studies.

“Meadow Quality is proud to offer this support to Zara Blackmore. We received lots of excellent applications this year and would like to thank all applicants for their continued involvement.” Matthew Nightingale, Chief Executive at Meadow Quality.

To apply for the Clive Mahony Bursary 2021, simply email info@meadowq.co.uk with your name, contact details and a short paragraph explaining why you deserve the bursary. Applications for 2021 open on 1st January.
