Tenbury Show 2025! ✨
We are incredibly proud of our 12 young calf rearers who presented their calves like pro’s at Tenbury Show.
This event marked the halfway point of their calf-rearing journey — an inspiring project launched earlier this year when Meadow Quality and the Powell family sponsored 12 Aberdeen Angus calves for local under-16s. The initiative, run by the Tenbury Agricultural Society, aims to encourage young people into farming by teaching them the full process of calf rearing.
Each participant has been hands-on with their own calf, learning everything from feeding and handling to record-keeping and animal health management.
On Saturday 2nd August, at the bustling Tenbury Show, the young rearers were judged on their handling and presentation skills. Every entrant showed huge progress and professionalism — a true credit to their hard work and commitment.
We’d like to extend a massive thank-you to the Tenbury Agricultural Society for organising such a brilliant initiative and giving these young farmers a platform to shine. 🌟
We can’t wait to follow their progress as they continue their rearing journeys, leading up to the final judging later this year!
