Health records travel with the calf:
Vaccination, disbudding, treatments and BVD screening. A calf with a clear record is worth more and settles faster on the receiving unit.
Why records matter more at this stage!
A reared calf has already had the chance to go wrong once. Knowing what it has had, and what it has not, is the difference between a calf that keeps growing and a setback four weeks in.
