Longmynd Hike Dementia UK Fundraiser
A Challenge with a Cause
On October 4th, Nick Cole from Meadow Quality will take part in the Longmynd Hike — a gruelling 24-hour, 50-mile challenge across the South Shropshire Hills.
The route covers eight iconic peaks and includes over 8,000 ft of climbing through some of the most breathtaking (and unforgiving) landscapes in the county.
It’s not just about endurance — every step Nick takes is in support of Dementia UK, a charity providing vital emotional and practical support to people living with dementia and their families. Their Admiral Nurses offer specialist guidance, care, and comfort through some of life’s hardest moments.
Why This Means So Much
Dementia UK is a cause very close to Nick’s heart. His fundraising efforts aim to ensure more families can access the compassionate support they need.
