Dairy calves need moving on a schedule, not when a buyer happens to appear. We collect dairy-bred bull and heifer calves week in, week out, so you know when they are going.
What makes a calf sell well?
Age, weight, how well it is drinking and how it has been housed. A calf that has had adequate good quality colostrum in the first hours of life shows it for the rest of its life, and buyers can tell.
Presentation:
Clean navels, dry bedding, no scour, drinking strongly. None of this is complicated and all of it is worth money.
